Hockey runs through her veins.

Meet Maddie, she is Pittsburgh Penguin's youngest fan! Her big brother plays hockey and his favorite team, you guessed it, is Pittsburgh.  She is only 1 month old but the love of hockey already runs through her veins.....

Us ~ Behind the Camera

So I have to admit it. If I had to choose sides, then behind the camera it is.  I am much more comfortable behind the lens than in front of it.  When I have the camera, in my hand, I get a totally different view of the world. Good excuse right? So Corey and I are usually the ones taking the photos and not the objects being photographed, but that's ok! 

Sometimes, only sometimes, we can get a little crazy and actually snap a picture of us!  You know that famous shot; holding the camera out at arms length, chin down, eyes up, just hoping to get just one good shot where our heads are not cut off!  But after we tried that a few times with "da mark" (our 5D Mark II camera & lens with lots of gadgets attached and a huge flash sitting on top of it that weighs a friggin ton!), we've come to realize we won't be getting too many shots of us!  

But here's a few photos of us including a couple of those "classic" shots but most, of course, from behind the camera.

Little Miss Charlotte

Today we had the pleasure of meeting Charlotte and what a joy it was!  She is blessed with beautiful blue eyes and I certainly think pink is her color.  Welcome to the world

Missing the whole picture........

In November I took a weekend bus tour to New York City. It was such an awesome experience but it flew by so quickly.  Literally!  Many of my photos were taken from a window of a moving bus and I would just snap away hoping to capture something! I came across this photo tonight and I have no idea of exactly where in New York it was taken. But I love it! Maybe it's the headless eagle statue in the bottom left hand corner or the bathtub sitting on the shelf or even the unique lettering on the sign, that makes me LOVE this photo. I'm thinking since the broom is next to the garbage bag that it is open for business.  If anyone does know about this place, I'd love to hear about it. This is one time I'm just wishing I wasn't missing the whole picture.  ~ Nicole

2011 Highlights

Today was a typical Sunday for me, I was home with a huge list of things I was determined to get done but I quickly got side tracked.  Corey is laughing at that right now because he knows when it comes to photos, how quickly that happens! Today I was looking over some of our 2011 photos when I decided to do this slideshow.  I can't believe the number of photos we have taken again this year and sitting on my iMac at this point is about 16,000+ photos. We also have two external hard drives that are getting pretty full aswell.  So lets just say that not EVERYTHING on my list got done today, but I'm glad this slideshow was one of them!  Enjoy and thanks for viewing! 

Danielle & Jamie ~ Engagement Shoot

I love it when a couple decides to go Red Rocks for a photoshoot, especially when it's their idea!  Had an awesome time photographing this couple and even though it was soooo cold, they had so much patience!  My fingers are just now thawing out but it was worth every shot.  Thank you guys and and I hope I get the privilege to work with you both again someday :)
